I’ve never really been into kale. I know it’s good for me and all… But other leafy greens have always outranked its earthy taste. At least that was until I discovered kale chips! Deliciously thin and crispy, these are a healthy alternative to the potatoey kind that I’m rather fond of.
In our fruit and veg box, we received a massive bunch of kale. So it was time to rock out some chips.
1 Bunch Curly Leaf Kale
2 Cloves Garlic, chopped finely
Olive oil spray
Ground salt and pepper
Preheat oven to 100C/200F. Remove the leaves from the stems and tear or cut into bite size pieces.
Wash kale and pat dry with paper towel and spread out on an even layer on an oven tray. Sprinkle with chopped garlic and spray lightly with olive oil. Grind salt and pepper to desired levels.
Bake for approx 10 minutes or till crispy. Kale chips are ready to go straight from the oven. Nom nom!
